A helpful hint that we have found- buy plants year-round and have a plan= you don't need to buy all of the plants at once. Leave open spaces for future planting and one HUGE item sometimes forgotten, ensure the plants have property drainage. Some plants need less water and when they are over watered (naturally or by rain) they turn yellow. Build up a slight mound, that’s easily covered with growth from the plant for the ones that need less water. Where did 2018 go? We wanted to do so many things that we didn't get around to. Luckily, we did get many sunny days, d on the beaches.We are so luck to have an extended summer that starts earlier, and ends later, with incredible weather. We did get to check out some awesome Farmers Markets, and we enjoyed quite a few LIVE MUSIC events. Were you one of the lucky ones that got to enjoy our beaches this year? Make sure that you know the temperament and size of the breed you choose, and whether they get along with your children and other pets. A great idea is to visit a local shelter. This time of year is also a great time to clear your closets and shelves of any blankets and towels that you want to dispose of, and donate them to animal shelters, where they are always needed. Many of the shelters and rescues are in dire need of these items, and appreciate the things that you may be looking to get rid of.
