Sneads Ferry North Carolina, once known as a small fishing town, has grown exponentially during the 21st century. With an 80% population growth, Sneads ferry is now the 2nd largest municipality in Onslow County, according to Census-Designated Place (CDP). The town is comprised of old-fashioned and modern style housing. Located right off highway 17, Sneads Ferry is found between Wilmington and Jacksonville, and is just a quick drive to the barrier island Topsail Island.
